There are old artifacts from my country being housed in the British Museum that was taken during the time we were colonized by the British, but I confidently say not to return those artifacts as corruption is rife and we don't have the resources and know-how to maintain and preserve these rare items. As long as they reference the country of origin and history of these artifacts, they can keep it. If they were to return it back to us, within 3 years those artifacts will be damaged.
