I don't like that it was named "The Veilguard" after Inquisition was just that; Inquisition.

EA "focus groups" saying that Darkspawn were too le scary so BioWare made them goofy and retarded as shit. This was back in DA2 era. I remember a similar thing happened to Dead Space which was especially funny: "your horror game is too scary!"

I still love the main reason they changed it was 100% because having Solas be the main villain would be too morally grey for the writers. Like it's really funny how they just outright had the elves forget their own folklore and think the new villain gods are bad and how before they even do anything and how Solas had good reasons for what he did despite how that should be the opposite based on what we are presented about the Dreadwolf in lore.
