They wanted to be able to sell more content without being contractually obligated to give it to early access buyers for free.

is it worth going the realism route with mods or should i stick with just playing the stock game first?

Imagine having a license to print money
all the heavy lifting has been done, you just need to port it with a bit of spit n shine, maybe some optional experimental stuff if you feel bold

and you fumble it so hard you kill both the game and your studio

i still don't get what they did to fuck up so hard. it was in early access and people bought it, they promised whole bunch of shit that was likely already modded in. couldn't they have just added the mods to the game and given it to the people waiting while trying to adjust things? it's baffling that they just fucked everything up. or was it just that they didn't wanna give early access adopters free updates?

Just make a copy of the game folder and try out different setups.
I have three, one stock installation, one modded and one RSS.

>3 spics in a basement make an extremely fun and soulful game
>Hire more staff from all the wheelbarrows of cash
>Blow a load on dividends and useless shit
>"Oh shit we need a new game or we're going to run out of money"
>Pump out one of the most half-baked early access releases in years with missing content from the ksp1 and constant stutters, frameless, CTDs
>Took the money from initial EA sales and ran
Ironically a very similar story to taleworlds with M&B Vs bannerlord except they've got turkroach taxpayer money propping up their idleness

They tried to make a brand new game using the old games spaghetti code and couldn't unfuck it at all. The devs were incompetent and the game could barely even run on modern hardware. It's still being sold in early access btw even though there's not a single dev left working on it.

Shameless how they're still selling it and not removing it from the store.

Am I losing my mind or is this reminiscent of a Battle Angel Alita chapter cover?

Battle Angel Alita - Last Order - c058 (v10) - p053 [Digital-HD] [danke-Empire]
Yeah, my brain might just be combining separate images but Alita does also love to put its characters in cool poses. Sometimes solo, sometimes grouped up.

I had to remember the retarded self-doubt brain nazi again and I'm pissed about it why does this series keep taking the dumbest turns
