They gotta have a new direct soon, the longer they go without one, the more they’re shooting themselves in the foot. We haven’t even seen footage of air riders and there’s no way that’s getting a gameplay reveal in september if they plan on releasing it this year

Hopes could use a bump in the resolution or some AA cause it does have that javvy look. But really it’s a Koei engine game, it’s a nightmare to work with, so it depends if KT was working on Houses remastered or not. Either they did it a long time ago (hence picrel where footage of in-engine cutscene of the lords in their promotion outfits surfaced in a Nintendo YouTube vid a couple years ago), or they didn’t do anything and Age of Imprisonment was their focus. Former seems unlikely cause third parties got devkits not that long before launch, unless Koei got it early because FE is first party treatment.

Oh to add why that image is a big deal. Because it’s literally impossible for it to exist in vanilla because that cutscene is a video file, it’s not real-time.
Perhaps the video editors had B-roll from the devs, and didn’t realize the inconsistency. But here we are. Logical thing is no way they’re not gonna try to milk their biggest FE.

Maybe Im coping, but I believe monolithsoft has to be working on huge patches for the whole Xeno series. It would be retarded for them to work their asses off making their games run on the potato that is the switch 1, only to not perfect them for the console that can actually do them justice
