I was part of a videogame club and brought a modded PS2 and most recently a PS1 classic. I also brought my Switch + laptop. I went for years and often joked "I just bring the games, I don't play them." I often just disappeared to drink, have dinner, play mahjong, or meet up with friends. I knew a few others in their late 20's and 30's who basically just treated the videogame club as their "gaming day" of the week. As the weeks and months went on, people would finish entire playthroughs of games solely by only playing it one day a week. It was their way of getting out the house, enjoying a game with friends, and keeping their interest fresh. It was certainly better than just waking up and playing games alone for hours on a weekend (or weekday if you are NEET).

I was too tired for even that and just settled into reading and studying while I do some light afkable gaming. Games don't interest me. I'm actually just fishing in FFXI Horizon while doing some reading. I read 2 books a week (1 light reading book, one "heavy" reading book), study Japanese and my business course everyday, and just meander around in FFXI being talkative and fishing. I find it peaceful and enjoyable in that respect.

I practice handwriting too so it's more time consuming since I don't want to be a wapurobaka. Drains a lot of time and means the progress is slower but more steady and certain. No, the idler games require close to no commitment, I can watch streams, read, draw, I can do anything while progressing in the game. I don't need to sit there and be overwhelmed by everything i have to two in game, to respond quickly, to commit to progressing, the handle the menus and all the chores that comes from regular gaming. Furthermore, playing regular games is no fun for me. I get bored in a matter of minutes, it feels pointless and like a waste of time. The few times I tried Idle games it was the opposite for me, I kept alttabbing to spend resources so they aren't wasted, but I also played the supposedly better idle games rather than phone ones that expect you to idle for 12h at a time

I think I have the opposite problem. Games these days are too superficial and souless so my suspension of disbelief cannot fully come into motion. It always feels like I'm forcing myself to ignore certain aspects of the game to like them.

The last game I purchased is Space Marine 2 and all the enemies and levels are practically just a slur of 10 copy pasted assets all over them. The story is generic, the dialogue is not memorable, the visuals and music are extremely uninspired.

absolute shame. I even liked the remake to some extent. Maybe I should make a direct comparison, but I think the animations for most of the fights are much more detailed. Nonetheless remaking Ranma was pointless as fuck. I wonder if there is a BD release that restores the nipples or if the whole purpose of remaking it was really just to make it safe for modern audience.
Maybe they pull a new ending out their ass.

There is none they entirely chopped off all the ecchi content. It's not censored, that is the original.
