The people Arthur spent his whole life with were the same people who would have been discriminated against during that time. He never developed the prejudices you would expect of the time because he never lived within the society that allowed those beliefs to flourish. Your worldview is shaped by the people around you.

RDR2 used to be one of my favorite games, I completed it 4 times, had more than 600h, but when I joined 4chan somehow the game disgusted me, thanks folks.
