Do you not know how problematic it is to display a young male being attracted to girls in his class? To have a crush on a girl? To not understand how virtuous and clean a male-male relationship is?
His comments towards Yukiko and Chie are literally microagressions, his attitude towards Saki is filthy. His thoughts on Kanji being gay is just incomprehensible in the current year. It's 2025, the only men that still think badly of gay sex are dying boomers in nursing homes, THANK SCIENCE.
It is imperative that ATLUS does not attempt to normalize this kind of disgusting behavior, these OUTDATED displays of male sexuality are not only immensely harmful but plain sickening.
The few remaining males that haven't gotten with the program need to know
1. You do not talk about girls in any kind of lustful way
2. You do not look at girls in any kind of lustful way
3. You do not interact with girls with any kind of hint of lust in your interaction
4. Hitting on girls is one of the gravest sins you can commit
5. A reaction of disgust or fear towards homosexuality is nonsensical.
Normal men do NOT do these things. They are anti-social actions borne of either malice or mental illness that should be punishable by DEATH for offending males. Yosuke, as he is should be killed off in the story for these crimes.
HOWEVER, these actions are understandable if the male in question was only acting that way because he merely had trouble accepting himself as a homosexual.
The only path for redemption and only sensible path for Yosuke's character is to make him actually homosexual. Otherwise his character is either evil or just acts incomprehensibly mentally ill.
