NTA but i have a samsung 980 pro m.2, 5950x - 7900xtx nitro - 64gb ddr4 and there's still some sections where the game will give me some minor hitches and stutters when loading chunks of the map and it;'s repeatable when traversing those areas over and over - some people seem to have it wayyyy worse and mine doesn't make the game unplayable but there's clearly an issue with how the game loads stuff in the background and it tanking performance at varying levels depending on the specs of the system it's running on
from what i recall speedrunners of both the original and the remake who do glitch out of bounds runs intentionally use those loading areas to break out of the map and skip large portions of the game since both games work very similar under the hood
it's quite interesting to watch some of those GDQ or ESA runs where anons break both dead space games

Not true. All enemies have the same movement speed. Pregnant is just another slasher that can spawn a kid. The exploding necro is just another slasher except he explodes when he reaches you. All of them are slow, all of them are tanky. In the original each necro has different movement speed and health so the combat has more variety. Also some specific states like headless necro were completely removed, if you blow off a slasher's head it doesn't change his behavior.

I think it's better than the original. My only complaint really is that a lot of the dialogue feels off and I think Hammond was done better in the original. Other than that though, I really like the direction of opening up the ship and having Isaac say stuff makes him feel like an actual character. I hope they do DS2 next and completely retcon 3 even though I liked that one too.

Considering they don't know about the games, just rage because of blacks on posters, I think they're just zoomers who want to "fit in". Remake spawns enemies randomly which makes the game scarier and keeps your attention even after you finished the game. The og trilogy all has the same spawn points and they didn't surprise after many playthroughs. Slashers have more attacks now and they surprise jump at you (in the og under 2-3m they just kept walking and used the same 2 attacks that you can avoid piss easily). Other than this, they removed the shitty turret parts, made bosses somehow harder and made guns more fun.
