My drawing habits usually have me struggle a lot with limited-function programs like Garyc and stuff, but the wiggly animation was so neat I just had to push through. And once I lowered my demands of myself and just doodled It was a great time!

Starting from the rough sketch, do a tidier version that tweaks some of the features and then go over that with a hard tip brush to give it nice bold lines

Eh, the ONLY thing I could think of as to why someone would think that is because the genitals have a lot more detail than the rest of the image. Slop likes to do that.
That being said, the anatomy and linework is too consistent to have the AI look. Flat, cel-shaded styles seem to have more obvious slop tells than "detailed" styles, for whatever reason.

For flat colors and big blocks of shade I use just the ink g-pen to lay them down. For deeper shades and transistion areas from shade to less shade and to light I use airbrush and soft eraser not at full opacity.

I do the flat colors first, then blocking shades, soft light, deeper and erase shades, hard lights.

I don't use brushes. Just the default pencil that comes with MS Paint. No layers because no layers in MS Paint. I always color the eyes first.

It doesn't really matter, but I usually start with the torso first because it's the largest part of the body.

I think you should watch some tutorials on how to use clipping masks.

Because shading is more important than colors. With the right shading, the artwork would still be good even if you mess up the colors. If you had bad shading, no coloring could fix it. You should look for "values" tutorials online if you want to know more.
