Bought this game for $1 on random occasion and its the game i enjoy and i actually finished it. And i never finish any single video game in past 2 years.

Yeah, it's languishing when I think that Falcom has some nice games that could use a polish and porting to new systems, especially Switch/Switch2. Falcom is too busy on other shit though.

A few anons spam this game, and it's cute, but it's not really a game that sparks dicsussion.

1. Everyone who wanted to played it ages ago, often literally a decade or more.
2. Falcom and steam don't push the game so it doesn't even get sales on Steam.
3. It doesn't have a mysterious storyline or difficult gameplay so no one talks about that.

I feel like it's a Mega Man 1 situation where it's a decent game, and all, but not much to talk about. If it got a sequel it could have polished the mechancis and got something more out of it.

This is how I know you're a casual who never bothered to get all the outfits. Crazy Mode is actually hard as fuck (if you haven't maxed out all the equipment you're 100% fucked, especially the Samurai Helmet), Black Bean is DMC-tier and the last boss rush that unlocks the swimsuit is actual pure certified balls to the wall bullshit hard.

It's not a rhythm game. Yes, hitting enemies to the beat gives you crits but this is absolutely worthless as the normal difficulty is fairly easy and attempting to do so in the higher difficulties will get you killed fast.

The rhythm gimmick it has literally does not matter. You get crits if you time it right but 99% of the time you just do more damage if you attack like you normall would.

the last falcom game i loved was zwei 2 in 2008, that's depressing
ys7/8/9 were alright, didn't enjoy eiyuu densetsu past the first 3 games, lets not talk about tokyo xanadu

I love Zwei 2 but I think it's funny it has worse combat than Gurumin despite being more action-oriented. Also

This game could sure use a Definitive Edition release that has all the goodies of the PSP version.
