That's not the point, polesmokers. When they start removing more and more stuff including the school shooting level it will become more difficult to mod back in as they push patches to make older mods incompatible. There are plenty of modded maps that do not work anymore.

Pretty much this. I have no fucking clue why they can't devote the effort to this, especially when it's such a small ask compared to how big the impact is.
It's a little bit of overhead, but theoretically you could tie content to display based on an enum of release platform. Why is that difficult?
It made sense in my head that like, you'd alter the level geometry and that wouldn't work for a cohesive shared experience, but it's just adding underwear, to which I say can't you just tag the assets strictly for AUS or Germany or wherever the Puritans are crying about it and load it up client side? I'm not pissed but there's no reason why American PC players are beholden to Asian Console players
