You guys do understand that companies are going to just leave games in a crippled but legally playable state after end of life, delist them from storefronts and disable redownloads of the title from those storefronts after a short cooldown period. Games will die at an even faster more consistent rate than ever before. It's PERFECT for the big money publishers in the long term as it gives them a legal framework to blame for them discontinuing heaps of their older titles and reducing the amount of sales that are lost to old games cannibalizing the sales of new releases.
