visually it's all nice, but all of it has a sheen of ironic stupidity to it. Everything is a callback, and every character has a dumb name for the sake of it. the endgame doesn't feel as rewarding as ds1 for some reason. Not sure what the difference is but maybe I'm just burned out after getting the platinum trophy for the first game.

both game have insane power creep around 2/3rds way through the game. Its why spending time doing roads, monorails and side orders can be fun but ultimately make the game more boring.
