good thread
crunchy/savory:
>popcorn
you posted it, but unironically, it's a good pick. air pop, apply light butter cut with some walnut oil or olive oil, it's all good fats and works well with the crunchy salty popcorn.
>pumpkin seeds
go easy or you *will* shit yourself, but these are reasonably good for you and salty. not the cheapest, but nice to munch on in moderation.
>mixed nuts
again, not the cheapest, and best enjoyed in moderation but very good.
crunchy/sweet:
>watermelon
goated. just try it once.
>vegetables, raw
this can be anything you like. carrot, rhubarb, radish, celery, etc. cheap and available
>vegetables, cooked
i can't tell you how many times i have munched on a plate of roasted root veg/potatoes while gaming.
less healthy but probably *way* better than a whole ass box of cheezits:
>garlic bread/crostini
love it. fucking love it. not the healthiest at all but very nice
>homemade chicken tempura
the least awful way to fry chicken. made properly into small strips, it's gaming friendly, and light/crispy/meaty with salt.
>baked hash brown patties
basically french fries but bigger and better texture when baked. not fried, so it's more or less just roasted potatoes with whatever else the manufacturer put in. still well in excess of bagged potato chips or cheezits
