I‘ve looked at some footage since it seems to be nearing 1.0 and the weapons look really boring to me compared to the first game. There‘s maybe 2-3 weapons i‘d be interested in while the first game had at least 1 weapon of each type i found cool. Are they more fun than they look or do i just not bother with this game

Havent played it myself but bump for interest, maybe someone whos played a bitcan help bc Im also thinking about buying it. I have heard it has way more content even in early access than the first game. But ive also read very negative things about some core mechanics that were changed, something about the dashes.

I fucking hate it when theres a very successful franchrise where the first part/adaption was somewhat low on the DEI scale and then for the sequel they tune up their insertion of certain politics and agendas by a ton just bc they know ppl will buy it regardless bc of said success of the earlier parts. You see it all the time with movies, tv shows and now even games.

the chamber variety is also worse, the bosses/enemies are also worse, the boons are worse, etc

H2 is just H1 if you downgrade the gameplay and remove all that was actually good about the plot, and add 15 hours of padding/timewaste
