Their build quality is really shit. My stepmom has one and it's been nothing but problems since the minute it went off the lot. I called them yesterday and the windshield just cracked for no reason for about the 5th time. Among other things like the wheel (not tire) breaking off while on the highway, the dumbass automatic wing door not opening, and brake issues.
The ride itself is enjoyable when it's not shitting itself but good lord.

The problem with electric vehicles is the battery. Too inefficient, and too dangerous. It makes up like 25% of the car's weight and most of the underside.
Worst part is that like most rechargeable batteries, it loses charge capacity with use, and can even explode if a cell gets damaged like in a crash or something.
Basically, EVs aren't going to be good until someone invents a better battery, or just replaces it with some kind of mini reactor that's safe for consumer use.

The battery is whatever and I don't think about crashing besides that if I am ever in one, I die instantly. The problem is they just fucking suck as cars. I work from home, driving for me is something I do for FUN. Electric cars are not FUN, they have no soul, no sound, no gears, no engagement, are too heavy, etc. they are a disposable modern appliance used to get from A to B for wageslaves.
