>>714474112 (OP) >gets discussed in parliament >takes years >nothing happens
it was already in the terms you agreed to but didnt read. they can shut down the game anytime they wish, you legally havent got a leg to stand on
>>714474347 >>714474203 >>714474139 >The way modern twitter works is Blue checkmark posts get seen first >This means you will always see the most retarded posts first
>>714474347 >muh licence
I fucking hate this because while it's true corporations do everything they can to paint it as anything BUT a licence. They know that if it was advertised as one it would push away tons of people
>>714474465 >did all the people buying the license agree to the terms of the license? >yes they did >verdict : all fuutre games need a retard proof warning saying this game wont be around forever.
start another petition if you like, thats now how contracts work.

Brother 400k are botted and fake. I don't believe 50k people signed it during last night. We all have pretty much the same timezone, 2h difference max.
>>714474406 >terms you agreed to but didnt read >terms go against reasonable user expectations
NULL AND VOID
In the EU ToS/EULAs are worth about as much as toilet paper and aren't considered legally binding.
>>714474203 >Running an online server isn't free
Running a server is insanely cheap, if you know what you're doing, otherwise there wouldn't be such thing as a free to play mmo
>>714474743
I don't know anon, if you had a bix text upon purchase saying >ATTENTION: YOU ARE NOT ACTUALLY BUYING THIS GAME. YOU ARE PURCHASING A LICENCE TO PLAY IT THAT MAY BE REVOKED AT ANY TIME
I'm sure some would react
>>714474112 (OP)
I lowkey hoped for this thing to bomb so Ross will get back to doing what he is the best at, schizo rambling about games no one cared about. Also, >21 months since the lasr FM2 episode
Fuck's sake.
>>714474347 >license
Sorry, but according to EU law licenses which are determined unfair to consumers are null and void if it goes to court. If a game is sold as a one-time purchase it's automatically treated as a good/product.
IF SKG actually succeeds this would finally move from a legal gray area which needs to be handled in individual court cases to an actual law preventing this kind of bullshit.
