>>714498243>of sufficient difficultyits not the fun kind of difficulty though is my issue with it. The game is just fucking mean at times and will spontaneous positioning check you by spawning a squad directly behind you, which leads to a loss if you didnt know it was already coming. Or missions will have some kind of binary A/B choice where option B is the only one that lets you beat the mission and picking A = level restart. It was a complaint I voiced in an RC thread and other anons just straight up told me to savescum since its that kind of game and I just dont like that experience.
The reason I liked troubleshooters more is because its significantly more freeform. If I ran into a problem while playing it I could back out, retool my characters, and then enter the map from another angle. If it were RC then the reason I lost the map would be because I didnt send character A to hold checkpoint X and use ability Y on turn 4 to counter the squad that spawns at that exact moment. The over-reliance on items also makes this problem way worse, you must place barbed wire at the checkpoint the devs want or you will lose. Its that kind of super narrow map design that I just dont gell with the game nearly as much.
