Gen Alpha ran to video games because the real world version of everything got priced outside of their hands, now video games are facing the same thing; being priced so high that new games become a rarity. Eventually, new consoles will cost too much for anyone to justify the price. Real things still sell because they're at least real and have some utility to them.
Eventually they will be reduced to bashing sticks together for entertainment, and (((they))) will find a way to make that shitty and expensive, too.
