Why does /v/ hate PvP games?
I like them for exactly one month after they are released but then I hate them because you are expected to keep playing that game and nothing else. Only the sweaties thrive. By that point I no longer care and want to play something else rather than waste all my life on one game.
>>714495249 (OP)/v/ is bad at video games so when they get competitive they become angry when they lose repeatedly
>>714495249 (OP)Matchmaking based pvp is trash. Enjoy your 50% forced winrate.
>>714495586why is it bad when the game finds opponents of your skill level
1v1 is fun
"Team" games are less fun with modern matchmaking
>>714495586win rate doesn't matter, only MMR does
While the "skill issue" what some of you are saying might be a factor, a lot of these games make you feel exactly the same as fucking doomscrolling all day. You play 5 hours of some moba and then just wonder what the fuck you were doing all day and why exactly did you do it.
>>714495249 (OP)Skill Issue. Everything else is cope. It genuinely sucks to see how bad you actually are at something that you call a 'hobby.'
1.) Insecurity
2.) Local multiplayer has been replaced by online multiplayer
3.) The culture of online multiplayer has deteriorated due to a number of factors, but primarily due to limitations placed on player-to-player communication and the promulgation of metagaming knowledge through channels like YouTube and Twitch. Developers won't let players talk to other players because they're terrified of someone saying "nigger" to a 12 year-old, so instead we're all forced to play with each other like two dogs barking at each other purely because someone put a gate between us.
PvP games were turned to shit by zoomers, russians and jeets
