5million in sales is coming from shipments to retailers theres 3.5 confirmed sales leaving 1/3 of the supply out there. There-s a risk of resale bricks that it will start cutting into scalper sales demand. Its Apocalyptic and will be seen in the decline of overall game sales which Nintendo is certainly aware about. Seems like they want to fudge the numbers a little longer to keep investors blind. They should have released a mainline pokemon, ninty platformer, or zelda.

Is stock legitimately starting to become available? That's not a good sign, it's only a month after launch. I know people are holding up that record, but this dose'nt feel like a successful launch. There's always negativity at launch, but usually the hype drowns it out. I don't feel that this time. It seems the normies aren't buying it.
Tendies were going to buy it no matter what, at launch. But for it to be successful it has to cross over and normies buy it too, or the sales will drop off quickly after the tendies get theirs.
And the third parties are struggling, people are blaming that on the key cards. But it makes a lot more sense that only tendies bought this thing, and they never buy 3rd party games anyway.

Why would you buy new hardware to play the games you already own? I know, they "run better" but the performance was just fine 6 months ago. And I honestly think the OLED has the better screen and battery life, so it isn't the straight upgrade you make it seem.
