Do you think they will see this as a way to deliver a quality product with all sorts of tools for the users, respecting the mandatory accessibility requirements and what not, or will they just take the path of least resistance and sell them same game again but with an updated expiration date?
The whole gacha proposal the EU had also contained provisions that make it illegal for games to be sold that are too "fascist" or contains messaging that condones fascism. Do you really think the EU commission will all of the sudden not fuck you over when they've already been anonymously lobbying to get VPNs and shit banned?
