This game is a work of art. That part when you are on Yavin IV, in the Massasi Temple (Jedi Academy) re-training and gaining your force powers back after two year hiatus, is pure kino. The music alone is fucking amazing.

John Williams sure knew how to make music....

Is better than Jedi Academy out of the box. I always disliked the combat with it because the gameplay felt slower with all the added combat animations.

Also Jedi Academy vanilla multiplayer had almost no maps and bots were broken. You can fire up JK2 Multiplayer and have sets of great maps and bots giving you challenge

Quake 3 engine was something special

I had so much fun on the multiplayer, the only map anyone seemed to play was the bespin port level, but all the lightsaber duel etiquette people observed was really cool.

Duels were always on the landing pad or the one long narrow roof.

I'l defend Nar Shadda to the death, because it did a great job of showing the player that having a lightsaber didn't mean they could turn their brain off

I wish we had more EU videogames before Disney took over the franchise.

the code that let you warp around with a killer laser beam was so based
or rapid fire homing rockets or rapid fire plasma grenades
too cool
