No. it doesn't have a single aspect that is refined beyond the bare minimum, whether it be enemy design, level design, animation, audio design. It's lazy and clearly rushed.

I was surprisied how much I liked itt. I think it outstayed its welcome just be a few hours, because I stopped playing on that last tower probably right around the last boss.

A great game otherwise, very solid 8 after the 2.0 update. Losing points for locations being convoluted and not having a traditional PvP I expected from it.

I thought it was pretty fun, though the holy spells are better than the chaos ones without a doubt. I played through it co-op with a friend, which is also very nice since they didn't have to buy it. Another thing I liked was that archery wasn't a gay meme, you could absolutely beat the game with bows and several different arrow types that do a bunch of shit.
I'd give it a good 7.

Not really, I quit after about 10 hours. I finished both The Surge and Hellpoint, for comparison.

No. Never played the original version but I played 2.0 or whatever on a friend's recommendation and there were too many fucking things about it that just pissed me off.
