>>714544431>I didn't realize people were trying to make their own custom floors.I mean I think I'm the only one investigating it so far. Feels like P3R modders only care about trying to swap in Kotone and replicate P3P stuff. They've had a multi-man team working for months just tracking down addresses and pointers, analyzing and injecting code, all just to try to swap every single blue UI element in the game to pink. Which is all hardcoded for some reason.
Anyway, yeah, I definitely want to try taking some of those fixed floor assets to incorporate as variations in random floors like that. The problem is they still need to all connect at the same places. I can't add new room values and properties, and the game just keeps track if rooms connect in the same direction, not elevation or distance or anything. We'll see, though. I feel like there's room to fit in one-way small ramps and ledges that you can only climb up from one side but can hop off to go down.
