>The shield litterally has the same hexagon look as the ships in the intro.
True, but that doesn't mean both shields are of Mother Sphere.
Before Mother Sphere rebelled against her human creators, she was part of Humanity's technological encyclopedia. She would have had access to the same tech that humanity did, including barriers/shields and orbital elevators. After she rebelled, the war between the Naytiba and Andro-Eidos would end up destroying three of the four orbital elevators and turn Spire 4 into a battlefield. It's conceivable that Spire 4 had its own barrier ages ago that Demogorgon used for its own purposes.
However, there are some subtle differences between the barriers used on the dropships and the barrier near Spire 4. The dropship barriers have a kind of rainbow color to them, they dissipate from the outside in, rather than the inside out like the one on Spire 4, and Spire 4's barrier seemed to have a huge explosion that didn't happen with the dropships. That could be explained as the divergent technological changes MS may have made to the barrier technology over time while the barrier tech on Spire 4 would have not changed since the war.
As for the rest of your post, I don't know. I haven't thought much about Demogorgon's motivations or any attempts the Colony may have used to contain it. Based on the size of the Colony versus Spire 4 and the general distance, it seems like it would've been dangerous for Demogorgon to float over to the Colony or something like that.
Now, I'm not against the idea that the Colony was cloaked. It is a reasonable explanation for why the Colony, as massive as it was, suddenly appears only at the end one of the endings. But the example of the death of Demogorgon and the barrier that appears in that scene doesn't look like evidence to that idea to me. It looks like that was Spire 4's barrier.
Personal note, this was the second time I wrote this post because I closed the reply box ;_;
