tu2 added an hour of content at most and barely fixed any of the issues the game has. If you played on release, there is just fuck all to do. There is not much to come back to.

This is the only Monster Hunter I chose to skip. Just a portion of the demo told me everything I needed to see to lose interest.

i never understood why you'd continue playing these games after they end
but maybe i got cucked playing them too early without the expansions becasue grinding feels too pointless
monsters are not hard enough to warrant grinding for better gear

You have to set your own goals with MH until the expansion. I'm currently working on crafting every armor in the game. Added everything I don't have yet to my wishlist, and now I constantly get UI updates on how many monster parts I still need. It's like a progress bar, very satisfying.

There will be a proper endgame grind in g-rank, we just gotta enjoy the ride until then.
