In Lost Ark and Black Desert like 99% of the classes are female and the 1% of classes you can be male are just pew pew guns and warrior.

Why? Why would you make majority of classes exclusive to troons who play as women? If anything it should even be the other way around and very few classes FOR women.

When you're making a ton of unique combat animations for a character/class it makes sense to gender lock them. A warrior's animations would look bizarre on a girl and the mage's animations would look weird on a boy. Going for an in-between medium also makes your animations look weird.
