I've pretty much maxxed out on games. I downloaded all the games I ever wanted to play. There is nothing left anymore for me to install.
Games I like:
>Cave shmups
>Treasure games
>games with great artstyle
>western RPGs liek Baldurs Gate and Elder Scrolls (only modded)
>arcade games with nice art
>generally games with nice art, cute girls and good gameplay
>Ridge Racer and Super Hang-on

What I don't like
>JRPGs (either too goofy or too easy and boring)
>ugly games (I'm not a graphic whote but an artstyle whore, there are too many ugly games)

FF7 demakes are utter trash compared to the original game. And they completely butchered the art design.

They have shitty gameplay. No challenge. The only JRPG I play is Virtual Hydlide. The only story game I'm interested in is Rule of Rose. Otherwise I don't care about game stories.

If we're talkin' video games you can't do much better than Hitman:WoA and the Yakuza series.

That game is still high on my list and I have to buy it.

>Subnautica
Not sure about this one. In terms of artstyle it looks uninteresting, but it probably has good atmosphere regardless?

Shabbat Shalom OP.
The SEGA Genesis holds various console games that have arcade philosophy.
Jewel Master, Midnight Resistance, and Atomic Runner are run and gun games that gets you out of the typical Contra and Metal Slug sphere.
There is Splatterhouse 2, and if you haven't played through Splatterhouse 1 then that is a must play first before the sequel since it's a continuation of the story.
Outrun 2019 and the Road Rash trilogy are great racing games akin to Super Hang-On. Then there's Skitchin' in which you utilize traffic to gain speed and catapult you past your rivals.
For some shoot em ups there is Elemental Master in which you can select a few stages and gain new magical shots. Bio-Hazard Battle where everything is an organism. Then Wings of Wor which you're an angel to strike down evil.
For side scrolling action games I highly recommend the Shinobi trilogy, Revenge, Shadow Dancer, and Return of the Ninja Master. ESWAT: City Under Siege is also great as well, and you eventually obtain an exosuit.
There is a gallery shooter called Dynamite Duke which is fairly solid. There are bosses at the end of the stages which you can end up getting into fist fights over!

>a stealth game
Sure, I played all the Tenchu games bakc in the days. Loved them and was thinking about trying Tenchu Z, but then I realized it will just be full of fetch quests again and decided against it.
Problem with these games is that they have no good level design. It's just "stealth kill all enemies on this map" over and over again. No boss enemies, no interesting changes in enviornment.

>a pure puzzle game
I played through some puzzle games, but they have no replayability. Once figure the puzzle out, game is done.
Only action-puzzle games have replayability.

you could try this if you want a more action-stealth hybrid. you can alternate as you wish between ghosting, stealth kills, pure action etc, and the levels arent linear/railroaded (other than some parts of levels of the original first game)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2608270/Intravenous_2/
the first game is remade in 2 and can be bought as dlc, so theres no 'need' to buy the first one
>pure puzzle replayability
have you tried Baba? *actually* beating the game (not the fake end) takes like 40-60+ hours of constant puzzles, after that theres a whole bonus campaign with even more levels filled with unique new gimmicks and sometimes even completely different gameplay styles. Once you beat all that, theres lots of fanmade content taking autism to a significant level if you REALLY want more

>didnt reply to the boss rush part
ill pick a random one then

I'm sure these games are fun, but I don't like their artstyles. I'm usually more a fan of Japanese games.

Never seen that before. Looks cool, but the animations suck. Part of why I like Super Hang-On is because the game is pretty well animated, with different corner lean sprites.

I highly recommend it.
I was about to ignore it because the net fame, but it ended up being one of the best gaming experiences of the century.

> it probably has good atmosphere regardless?
That's right. It varies from beautiful and chill, to mood and outright terrifying.

You really should play Replicant before Automata. Automata was most people's entry to the series because 2B's coomer design but it's very much a Replicant sequel and playing them out of order will result in a worse experience for both games.

>Only action-puzzle games have replayability.
What about a tactical puzzle game like Into the Breach?
That has plenty of replayability
