I've been messing with modding and expanding Live Free, the slave mod, to TR. Also adding uses for slaves to the telvanni stronghold.
Other than tortuting them for magical research and sending them to rooms to "clean", aka stand around existing, I'm not sure what else to use them for.
I suppose I could have them as shitty guards alongside the actual guards but they would just die and slaves are actually harder to get than the respawning guards lmao.

OG Morrowind filtered me so hard, aside from the tamerial rebuilt and related mods the only other ones I installed where animation changes and sound changes for combat (and a couple of the other modernizing ones recommended by warlockracy) and then spent 4 hours yesterday just questing in Bal Foyen after swimming there from Ebonheart and feel like I've done maybe half the content, and it was great the city feels so natural to explore

You would have to edit and recompile OpenMW because the functions for determining hit/miss, damage, etc. can only be modified in the source code. There are mods that still try to do it, but they all use shitty hacks that change your attributes and can even corrupt your save.

Question for the experts, since I haven't played Morrowind in an eternity: is there any mod (OpenMW or the originals) that give you an action bar instead of the default "rotate your spells until you randomly land on the one you actually want"?
I intend to play a caster and I remember the default UI being utterly shit if you had more than 3 spells.

Morrowind was and always will be handicapped due to being on a 3D engine.

I am now playing through the thief's guild quests in old ebon heart but god the stealth gameplay is so bad, half the time I just waltz into a house in plain view and take something because you just can't do it undeducted
