Friendly reminder that the greatest video game engine the world has ever seen was used by Kojima Productions only ONCE and was then promptly relegated to powering... soccer games... before being deemed redundant after 7 years.
I still consider this one of the biggest "What If?" in gaming history and a massive disgrace on Konami's part.

FOX Engine was PS3 tech, no better than RAGE Engine that was used for RDR1, TPP couldn't even render 12 NPCs on screen at the same time.

Friendly reminder that you morons have zero idea what an engine is, let alone what an in-house engine looks like.

You faggots spent years fellating Frostbite around the time NuBattlefront released because it looked good (and you morons can't tell the difference between assets and engine), and then it was promptly revealed by actual devs with experience in it what a turd it was.

The Fox engine was made for PS3/360 hardware.

That's why PC dudes suck it off so much. Because most PC players have shity computers that are midrange at best.

The Dunia engine and RE engine are the best right now because they actually make use of modern hardware.

The unreal engine 5 is something that won't become manageable until the PS6. I promise you that people will eventually say it was ahead of its time.

The creation is probably one of the oldest engines to be used today.

There's nothing wrong with that. So long as your properly upgrading it. Unreal engine is also an old engine.

>Greatest game engine ever
Spoken like a true fanboy. The fox engine was outdated and jank on release back in 2015. If you want a laugh just watch an mgsV glitch compilation or a technical breakdown of how V is a worse game than MGS 2

The fog doesn't cap render distance as much as you might think, it's mainly there for gameplay.

I am familiar with the game, and I liked it more than most (would have played more, but virve is understandably lacking when one has to rely on d*scord to get players for co-op). I will still stand by what I said.
