I haven't played Fifa in years, they're totally different games though. This is more like Rocket League, but quite different to that game too. I like it but it needs better training modes and playing solo can be painful because your teammates might not defend or pass, both of which are crucial to success.
It's its own thing. Sports games are very formulaic, and for good reason. They're taking a big step, I think, towards the game becoming its own thing. Instead of following real sports
