This. Short and longsword make all other weapons basically useless, even against highly armored opponents. Shortsword only is especially OP with some perks making it easy to stun-lock enemies, making a no-skill spamming approach more effective than using combos, feinting or even master-strikes.

Combat is retarded. Either go high skill complete freeform or the usual canned attack slop.

i played kcd1 for 360 hours too and completed multiple playthroughs, you never had to learn master strikes in that game to beat it
