Quick question, but what are the highest scores for each difficulty? I'm curious since I feel I did pretty well with my submission and I wanna check.

Some general scoring tips(the enemy can use this):
>grazing doesn't matter
>power items act like point items when at full power
>the point item value increases by dealing damage in beast mode

Now, for the real strategy.
You can use two bombs(each) to clear the sections right before & right after the midboss. Since we start with 4 bombs, we can use them to get past both sections while maximizing our score gained from them.
Now, for the boss, you can actually use bombs to clear spellcards, while earning(almost all of) the spellcard bonus(more than 4.5 out of 5 million)!
The way you do this is by bombing right before the spell starts. Since we have powerful bombs, this will deal high damage to Mayumi and allow us to get most of the spellcard bonus.

You can unlock everything with a code if you can't beat the game. Check the wiki, it has it

Let me tell you why stage 4 of WBaWC is one of the best Touhou stages of all time and one of the many reasons WBaWC is my favorite game in the series.
