Fallout NV is not fun. It has fucking awful gameplay.

It's basically a glorified VN. You have to be stupid enough to think the writing is brilliant to like the game because it has nothing else to offer.

I'd put Hollow Knight in the fun and interesting category, and Inside in interesting since it's not terribly fun (and I say that as someone that's beat it around 5 times now)
what you're really referring to is the phenomenon known as ludo-kino
Arcanum's setting might be kino, but it's certainly not ludo. SotC's setting is kino and its gameplay is also ludo

Hollow Knight is definitely not interesting, the character designs are laughable, the environments are too samey, and the story is babby's first "innocent cartoony game with a deeplore dark secret"

Compared to an actually fun and interesting metroid-like, Super Metroid, it falls short in every category of interest

Sorry, but nu-Fallout gameplay is just garbage. They do a HORRIBLE job of mixing gunplay and RPG mechanics. I dropped both 3 and NV very early on.

Many of the games there are questionable. Deadly Premonition and E.Y.E, while fun, are incredibly jank. King's Field is held back by its silky smooth 12 FPS, genuinely unplayable. The original Nier's gameplay is awful, and I say this as someone who likes the game and considers its soundtrack the best ever composed for a video game. Same thing applies to VTMB.
Xenogears is held back by both awful gameplay and a shoddy translation. One of the few genuine 2/10 games I played, with few redeeming qualities. I might change my mind if a retranslation patch drops (though I doubt I will, I never bothered picking F/SN back up), but until then I'll consider it one of the worst games I ever played.
