A few years ago, Toby Fox made a short remix of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” called “Friend Inside Me”. Some loser on YouTube drew a parallel between that phrase, Woody Toy Story, Spamton Deltarune’s situation of being controlled, the hidden FRIEND image, and the canceled cowboy show mentioned before Ch3’s release and proposed that the next secret boss would be a complete rehash of Spamton, except as a Woody knockoff with FRIEND controlling him from the inside (as his voice box maybe). Some people ate it up, maybe ironically. It didn’t happen.

i know this is bait but for anyone else reading this and getting persuaded toby literally mocks "mike theory-crafting" in the mike room minigame. That foreboading image of a giant boom mic is probably the last we'll ever see in game of Mike as a concept with any importance. Also woody is never showing up in toy story because itd be retarded. Who wants that. Toby fox probably got inspired to think about toy story because the song has some funny similarities to deltarune's story (friend inside me being the soul inside of kris or something like that) and got the idea to make a shitpost because of it but that in no way means its happening in deltarune. If Mike got treated like an annoyance toby had with the fandom, fucking woody from toy story isn't getting anything. It'd be like saying "in the house like carpet" is showing up in Chapter 7.
