I hate modern arcades so much. White fluorescent lights, bright LEDs, all the games are just big screens of mobile games that cost a dollar each. Suffering.

Everything was magically better when I was a kid. It's not that I was more ignorant of the harsh reality, everything was just better. I didn't have to work or pay rent or buy groceries, food just magically appeared in the pantry. Why don't we just invent a magical rewind time to when I was a kid and make it stay that way forever machine? Whine, whine, whine.

That was a quarter for a few minutes or less of gameplay until you got good. It was a good value if you were serious about mastering the games, but for most kids, you were wasting your parents' money on an empty experience. You were more likely to beat a home video game.
