Remember when gaming only cost a quarter?
You could feel it physically but you didn't own it for that price though

I hate modern arcades so much. White fluorescent lights, bright LEDs, all the games are just big screens of mobile games that cost a dollar each. Suffering.
>>714587090wrong. arcade devs quickly realized the kids were getting too good at the games so introduced the timer.

>pay 25 cents for an experience

2025 is literally THE GOLDEN AGE of humanity
and it's gonna just keep getting better
>>714586701 (OP)That was a quarter for a few minutes or less of gameplay until you got good. It was a good value if you were serious about mastering the games, but for most kids, you were wasting your parents' money on an empty experience. You were more likely to beat a home video game.
>go to Putt Putt Super Saturday
>get 40 tokens before lunch (slice of pizza and a coke), 40 tokens after
>burn 40 tokens in like half an hour, forced to play minigolf
