I love Desperados 3, such a shame what happened to mimimi

At this point I'd even settle for an RPG with some optional stealth mechanics

Metal Gear solid 1-5 inc. PW
Splinter Cell 1-3
Hitman OG and nu-trilogies

Intravenous 2 is the only game I've played that nails that chaos theory feel. the whole game is basically
>SC:CT + Tarkov/Insurgency gunplay + Hitman + Jagged Alliance 2

If you prefer a "panther" playstyle in stealth games then play Intravenous 2.

It's fairly barren outside most of the classic games people know. I will however post a list of indie or smaller budget AA in regards to upcoming and released. And just AAA

What i forgot to mention is that the Riddick game technically classifies as stealth too. Worth checking out.

Intravenous works for all playstyles, but its the only one where i really like panther. Which is great because i always wanted such a game that didnt suck
Anonymous No.714592642
i have fond memories of playing hitman 3 on ps2. i claimed hitman: world of assassination recently and holy fuck, i can't believe how much stuff they locked out so you buy the pieces that make up the entire game. you do get the tutorial and one Mads Mikkelsen arcade stage. If you fail it though, you have to wait 12 hours to try again. In other words, WOA is simply the menu, and you have to "get access" (buy) everything else
Anonymous No.714592779 >>714593934
Dishonored 2 with no powers was probably my favorite all-time stealth experience.

Same, in every other stealth game i just reload the quicksave when detected but not in Intravenous. I don't know what's special/different about it.

>I don't know what's special/different about it.
as far as im concerned
They made the stealth actually play into combat, line of sight/shadows etc still matter and enemies never wallhack
The enemy AI is actually sort of interesting/smart, other than camping in a room Hotline Miami style, but its less worse if you use the no-wallhack mutator which makes the game much "fairer" for the enemies,
^ Its satisfying to shoot because both players and enemies are deadly instead of something really awkward
The gadgets are cool as fuck

It only falls off once you get good enough at the game, and just shooting the enemies starts feeling way easier and faster than ghosting past them

Escape from Butchers Bay is so good im surprised it hasn't been remastered yet.

MGS V (Ground Zeroes AND Phantom Pain). Worst story of the mainline games but it has the best gameplay of series, is very replayable, and has an incredible atmosphere to boot. Get MGSV, it's so fucking good. I just wish Kojima had the opportunity to finish it on his terms.

Try no powers, no kills, and ghost. It’s challenging as fuck but really fun

Rights are unclear. Owner of Black Forest Games replied to someone on Twitter asking about it. He said they spent months talking to various Riddick rights holders including Vin, and no one was sure who actually had the right to remaster the game.

can't imagine the types of people that play "stealth" games.
>slow walk, prone, crouchwalk whole game because its le epic and le ebinally immersive
>plays exactly like having to go to le epic museum tour but what if forced by parents or school (do not run away challenge)
>pacifist shit because it always is pacifist shit. #standwithPETA
>learning guard patrol routes that make u go HARD (if u know what i mean)
>oh my god this level design is le fucking epicness, just look at that camera's carefully designed field of view and how it can be countered if i time it just right!!!!!
>f5 f9 all muddied up ready to be cleaned with the tongue after gaming session (if u know what i mean)

these stealth games are lame
heres how a good stealth game should be
>there should be fun ways to interact with enemies and make your way around, patience still matters but its not a pure waiting simulator
>getting caught should be fun in its own way instead of a F5 F9 simulator

Both. Because I loved the games and replayed them several times.
