>Bought Animal Crossing
>GF started playing on her account because I was at work
>Can't name my island when I boot up, but whatever
>Apparently have to share my island with her
>okay.jpg
>Play a couple of days, but residents seem to not give a fuck about me, everybody still living in tents
>Upgraded house three times now
>Still no progress
>wtf.jpg
>Look it up online
>Apparently whoever boots the game first is the MC and gets to do all the quests, whoever shares the game gets to just do their busywork
>No way to change MC, have to delete two weeks of gathering shit and miles and bells because Nintendo is fucking retarded and can't handle two people being able to progress the main quest on one system

Your own fault for buying the game instead of emulating like a normal human being.

The better solution would've been to have 2 switches and just play locally. It's also more addicting as one town will have resources while the other is depleted, or fruits that you earn more money from.

Art imitates real life though.
As her BF (she owns you), you are the sidekick and get to do the busywork.
Hope that helps.

Hey why not buy two Switch 2's while at it? Nintendo needs that money.

I assume that means you don't have that money?
Otherwise I fail to see a problem here.
