What is your opinion on the Shantae series?

My opinion is that she need to give birth to a lot of quarter-genies

Abandoned it’s dancing parlor roots.

They're fun. Never groundbreaking, but solid.

Mostly mid besides pirates curse, a few are straight up bad I hated riskys revenge
but shes so cute I will play all her games

Why haven't other western devs caught on that cute girls is literally all it takes to get people to play your mediocre crap?
As an aspiring dev you would be crazy not to include one, an appealing design can carry your whole game.

I've only played the first one in the series not including the original GB game. It was fun but not amazing and Shante's sexy sprites weren't enough to carry me to the end which is the impression I've held about the series as a whole since then
