Wuxia = mostly "grounded" fantasy with magical martial arts, maybe some demons and magical beasts can appear at higher ends, flying and "magic" are relatively rare and considered difficult/mastery of the art
Xianxia = scrubs are easily Hulk level in physical capabilities, teleportation and interdimensional travel are considered basic requirements to be someone of real worth, there are literal multiverses (with different power levels between them) and reincarnation between them is often the goal, if not an expected cycle of life, etc.
