bros, my coworker wants my steam so we can play games together, and I would like to play with him, the problem is that my steam profile is full of furry shit, exactly what'd you expect. furry groups, furry pfp, furry background, furry games, what should I do? It kinda baffles me how rare gaming is even among under 35 year olds. It's objectively the best way to turn money into fun. Zoomers may play lol, fortnite or cs with their friends but if you start talking about new single player releases the number of people cuts to very low numbers

It's not like normies that don't game are rich. I spend like 400-700 euros a year on games.

I've worked with zoomers. I pretty quickly ask if they play anything after the introduction small talk. Very common to hear that they used to play fortnite, lol or cs recently with their friends but stopped that. Most likely played in high school but stopped when that ended.

part of is a lot of them didnt grow up with the industry getting to see all the huge technical leaps and tons of classics and experimentations. chances were higher with past generations that you hit upon some classics or masterpieces that developed a love for games if for nothing else just a higher output from devs.

but yes also normies (and yes i will use this word even if they also adapt it, its shorter than normalfag) thoughts are only about what mass opinion is and whats the hot thing. ive seen some people irl and even lets players of multiplayer focused channels admit they only like games because of the social aspext and dont play alone.

even in 2025 its weird hearing people be like yeah i played mario when i was a kid but i just dont have time for games while they fall overthemselves to watch every new netflix series or capeshit movie.
