Why are you guys like this? Why don't you take your time to aprreciante it instead of moving to the next game at the speed of light?

I simply forgot as I submerge fully and when I did I didn't organize it well enough for it to be referenced and presented, so it just became a cognitive burden.

I enjoy it in the moment. No photo will accurately represent the moment, so there is no need to keep one around. My memory will suffice, and should that fail, then and only then can the moment happen again naturally and I can appreciate it fully once more.

The best photos are ones you don't even know have been taken. They truly capture people in the moment. It's real and people aren't posing for a photo.

I've had people share photos with me 10+ years later of me at a party laughing with an old friend I haven't spoken to in as long and it's magical seeing it.

A photo of me walking to the store just chatting with my friends little brother who was like 5 at the time. And he's 22+ now. Invokes crazy feelings. Better than posed and staged photos.

I take a shitton of screenshots. Basically any time something even mildly interesting is on screen I compulsively hit the screenshot button. When I play old games I have av cables for my ps2 and wii that split out to composite and s-video and I have the s-video going to my gvusb2 (my crt only has composite in) connected to my pc with obs running and I use the screenshot hotkey to capture screenshots.

I always try to take screenshots of the games I play, it's fun to go back and look at them

i honestly don't understand the fascination with photo mode in games. i literally have not used it one single time in my entire life. like, if you feel the need to take a picture of your gorgeous video game view, then just press PrtSc, nigger!

I have no one to share it with so there's no point. I care little about clout and random likes from strangers. More so I don't know any picture I've ever took that didn't end up as a painful memory. Hence why I deleted all my socials, what's the point of all these pictures of exs and people you'll never see again? Specially when new people look through your history and judge you based off shit from years ago you don't even want to remember.

I have taken over a 1,000 screenshots on my Switch 2 since launch. Thousands more on the PS5. You could follow the plots of several games through my screenshots.
