Loop hero is a "idle game" but you cant be idle at all. The dude run around the map, but you need to be actively helping/put monsters on his path. So it's idle as, you dont control the dude kinda like an auto runner on a track, but you have to play cards and equip stuff on him all the time.

It's a "push your luck too" You cannot stop your run if he's not at the start line, so, do you push him to do another round around the circuit where he might get more gold/better gear, or do you stop and cut your losses? If you die, you lose a lot of gold, which mean not upgrading your village correctly to get new terrains/monsters/ bonuses

Movement looks kinda boring and slow, if there are no significant upgrades to players abilities, some skill based tech or sequence breaks that are acoounted for, I wouldn't touch this game. Map looks too open and boring as well.

This game has surprisingly good visuals despite the generic art direction, it's clean and readable yet textured in a way very few 3D games are these days despite the anti-soul fog
