Yes. A billion music tracks but the only memorable music is remixes of old tracks. A billion courses when including the intermissions yet the game only has one good memorable course. A billion playable characters yet most of it is mook bloat.

The music sure is. Not that it isn't well made, but I hate how fucking boisterous and "showoffy" all the music is in this game. nothing really fits the "moment" like it did in 8. Every track in MK8 felt so monumental somehow. I remember feeling blown back by it compared to recent MK titles, but World hasn't done that for me. I catch a tune now and again that makes me go "Oh wow, that's a nice remake of that track" but there's just ALWAYS playing some kind of "special" song no matter what is happening that I ended up getting tired of the noise.
