The gameplay itself is great and well paced but everything else leaves to be desired, the soundtrack and the aesthetics aren't bad but they aren't memorable either, every level is an arbitrary playground like a custom source game map
most people don't value that but all the fonds memories I have of character action games are tied to more than just gameplay
when I think of my Ultrakill playthrough, I remember a very fun game that kept adding new challenges and mechanics in an engaging way but I don't miss it, I don't want to go 'back' to Ultrakill the same way I'd want to go back to DMC and its vibes

I haven't played Final Fight but for what i have seen Urban Reign is more fast paced and much smoother in combat. It has regional damage where you can target specific body parts to weaken them to increase they receive. Crowd control can be a pain in ass in late game if you don't make use of your entire moveset.

1v3 irl are almost impossible especially if you are surrounded from all angles. If you have them in front and you got based KO power then your only shot is being accurate and fast as fuck. But smart opponents are going to know that & they are going to surround you.
