Catching pals. Look through the palpedia to check where you haven't completed the capture bonus and do those. Those captures give lvl % based xp, so they work even into the late game. You can also cheese enemy camps with some big aoe/lasers pals.

Player-wise getting the capture bonus from pals is really good. If you need to powerlevel Pals from 1-65 you can do it in like 5 minutes from farming the Sakura base near the tower since the enemies there respawn if you go away far enough and there's a ton. Really easy if you use something like Meteorain from Jetragon to nuke the entire base. There's also EXP food you can get from cooking Jellroy, Jelliette, and Gloopie, and there are EXP accessories that stack that you can get from fishing. +0, +1, and +2 can all be gotten from the fishing pond in your base, +2 is pretty easy to get from high level salvaging.

I've never used it so I can't say how effective it actually is but I don't see the need for something like that when it's so easy to stockpile a mountain of materials to turn into something else and vendor with a full team of Noble pals present.

I will say that if you choose something that involves Pal production in any way then one of the best things you can do is invest in the Artisan chip as soon as possible and abuse the surgery table to implant Artisan/Serious then throw a few souls at your labor force. It's a fairly cheap and easy way to push 200+ work speed and at that point you produce way more materials than you can ever use.

I haven't tried spam killing tower bosses for comparison so I couldn't say, but I'd presume so just because of how much HP tower bosses have. Rampagers are harder than alphas but they're still much quicker kills than tower bosses

Yes but it doesn't give you access to all traits. It basically made it so you can set up some perfectly suitable temporary traits that put your pals at 90% potential power but if you really want to go min/max breeding autism you can do so to try and get one of the high tier traits which aren't available to implant.

It basically raised the minimum level of performance but kept breeding relevant because of IVs and the tryhard traits.

As far as I'm aware no but there are now items you can grind for to increase IVs, though the higher the natural IVs are the less you'll have to grind to boost them all to 100.

In general it's much easier now to get an ideal pal in terms of IVs and traits than it was before.

As far as I know, there's no way to pass down IVs.
I can't say for certain, it could just he confirmation bias/coincidentally timed luck, but I THINK traits pass down more reliably now. It's hard to say for sure.
I haven't bred for any 4/4 trait combos yet, but I've gotten a couple with 3 I need, and all of them went through in like 3-5 eggs. The only time I've gotten fucked in breeding is getting like 18 male Warsects in a row, but of them, like 6 of them had all three abilities I wanted, Vampiric, King of the Waves, and Lucky.
I COULD have gender swapped them, but only had one swapper at the time and wanted to save it. Wound up not needing it before I got more because of course.

I kind of won by luck
I'm at level 63 with pals with Demon God, Vampiric, Serenity, and Vanguard on all of them, all are at around 80-ish IVs, but are max condensed with around 45% stat increases by souls.
Was so surprised at how fast we go down each time I tried Master but I just thought it's because of the level difference damage increase.
I then tried asking here if Vampiric is worth it, and got convinced that Diamond Body might be better. Since I can't surgery that in I placed the next best thing, Burly Body to replace Vampiric.
Then we started to last a little longer. I also put myself right in front to aggro the enemy pals because I'm on Hexolite Epic and 2 defense pendants, so I can take it better than they do. Still kept losing but is now lasting much longer.
Then luckily, I got a Brothers of the Pyre enemy. He went straight to my pals too because he's sorta short ranged with his flamethrower. So we all focused fire on him while my ass is still close to his pals to aggro his pals. Boom, wiiiiiiin.

There's no penalty for catching hostile humans, but a lot of friendly ones will count as assault if you attack and trigger PIDF to attack you.
There's no downsides to having humans. At first, they only had Handiwork as a base skill, but now they have access to nearly every skill (depending on the type) and you can have a fully functional base with only humans. A benefit is that humans keep their interactions when you speak to them, so if you capture a merchant of any type, their shop is always available. Personally, I always catch the Wandering Merchant that visits your base early on, he essentially just a free capture since attacking him doesn't count as a crime.
Oh, and humans can use skill fruits, so if you wanted your merchant to fire his lazor, he can do that.

2 baths is a good default unless you've increased your base size, or are doing work that lowers San. It's especially good to have them if you have nocturnal pals, since that's effectively more uptime for them. A pal won't always use a bath if they're on break/frustrated, even if one's open, but they're more likely to if there are multiple, spread out so one's always closse.
Remember that you can force a pal into the bath by throwing them in. They'll regain San while doing so, so if you see a stressed pal and you're worried about them, chuck 'em in until their San replenishes a bit.

After 3 days of watching various streams, I suspect costumes and character/aniimo costume customization is going to be monetized to hell and back, and any 'alpha' boss battles will be dependent on using the guaranteed anipod ultra to catch them, and that will get monetized certainly. had to find a free blenderkit fire material that didn't look like complete shit the fire is rendered in UE not a material that can be exported easily so I need to setup an emitter for the particles later for better renders but it's fine for wip stuff now
