Thankfully, the alts have very different kits and animations. The only ones whose kits are more or less copy-pasted from the original with an attack type swap are Azoos and Mashiro and they were the very first couple of alts in the game. Ever since then it's never been the case. Plus, it's always great to see a special student get a striker alt so she can finally be on-field. In terms of gameplay there's also a small benefit that the bonus stats from bond are added up across all versions of the same character.

Man, after all that waiting, I think I just don't actually like the game. The setting and world building could be cool, but they're just a meaningless backdrop to slice of life with no actual story relevance that'll be explored. The gameplay is... serviceable, I guess. Even most of the designs are kind of bland, although there's a number of big exceptions there. The one good thing I'll say is Problem Solvers carry HARD in every scene they appear in.

Don't worry about it. The rewards are neat for newcomers, but definitely not worth the hassle of setting the game up on an emulator or phone if you don't want to. There are threads about it on the steam forums too so i predict they'll fix it on tuesday or maybe provide everyone the mats they could've gotten in the mail.

Mainly concentrate on normal missions, get as far as toy can through them without worrying about getting a 3* rating, you want cafe upgrades that will boost your ap generation. The guide task is fine, just don't you dare waste pyroxenes just because it says to use them. It doesn't have an expiration date, so you'll complete it naturally later when you roll.

The Nonomi missions? No need to rush those, I think they're not going anywhere.
As a new player you should be upgrading your cafe by clearing Normal Missions. Every multiple of 3 awards an upgrade thing for your Cafe. Because it lets your Cafe generate more AP daily, so you could progress faster. I'm sure you see the benefits.
There's also a double drop Hard Mission campaign going on right now, So you might want to take advantage of that, if you can. Provided you have the Missions with strong farmable students unlocked.
There's also double Scrimmages up now, but it's endgame resource farming content, for fully uncapped students.
Next week starts a (pre-)anniversary event, which you should also be prioritizing, since it's limited-time content. Like any other event. But this one is bigger than the usual, since it's, well, an anniversary.

Yes. And it's nothing as ridiculous as maxing bond of ocurse. You just need to get somewhere around 5 or 10 at most. You can increase it by tapping her in the cafe, giving gifts and picking her when she appears in lessons, earlier bond ranks take no time at all so you'll unlock it very quickly.
