The first Alan Wake had an all white cast and it still had shit gameplay and a mediocre story.
Now the gameplay is barely any better and the story is woke now too. The only thing AW2 has going for it is production value, but live action cutscenes aren’t enough to carry a game.

Are these good games because they are fun to play or good games in a creative sense?

So they made a character black because they needed to make her the daughter of another character but couldn’t have just made that character white? I mean she is the one that’s does it since she has the magic book. Also I suppose she always makes up a backstory of being oppressed for being black even though she really didn’t need to.

Saga being the daughter of Mr. Doors is inconsequential to the story. You could have explained her powers in a shedload of ways.
I think the casting was made completely separate, and then they were tied.

I liked her. She isn't the annoying "don't need no man" archetype, and we have such few examples of good brown protags in vidya. Saga was not designed as the "Aunt Jemima ready to cook you up some greens" look that soo many Western developers (Concord) seem to love these days. Maybe it's because the studio is Swedish/Danish or w/e.
