>make 2 of the best platformer games ever made
>go radio silent for a decade and not release anything or even any updates about future games
Did the Playdead devs all die or something? Theyโ€™ve done literally nothing since 2016

So what? Let them take their time on whatever projects they like. Unless you want them to just kick out a bunch of half baked shovelware.

The two co-founders had some sort of spat and split up. One of them went on to make another game with a different studio that was in a similar vein(Somerville) though it wasn't as well received as Inside or Limbo. Not sure what happened to the other guy.

Inside is one of the coolest plots in games and not a single thing is explained. I wish there were more games with that much atmosphere and dread.

I didn't play Inside, but I played Limbo on release and wasn't very impressed. Why is it still a critical darling after all this time? To me, it feels like holding up a game like Splosion Man or Geometry Wars as some sort of masterpiece. Geometry Wars IS pretty dope, though...
